Twist & Fit Tension Rod - White

Easy to use, hassle free expandable rod that grips into your window recess by tension without any fixings. Hang your voile or net in minutes!

Tension rods are suitable for lightweight voile and net curtains that have a slot top heading. Bowing may occur if a heavier curtain is used.

Information

Diameter: The end of the pole measures approximately 17mm in diameter, with the remaining pole at approximately 12mm - this will fit a 3cm slot or bigger. The 229cm - 310cm rod is slightly larger with the end of the pole measuring approximately 21mm in diameter, and the remaining pole approximately 16mm - this will fit a 4cm slot or bigger.

Size: Sizes shown are the minimum and maximum length each pole extends to, however to create ample tension we advise that you choose a rod that extends wider than your recess by at least 20cm. A greater tension, creates a stronger and firmer hold for your curtain.

Fitting: Either extend the rod 1-2cm wider than the recess and squeeze it in, or twist the rod from inside the recess until it is firmly in place. For example if your window recess measures 59cm wide, and you used the 41-61cm rod, this will be extended to its maximum and will be too weak. Therefore we would recommend the 56-91cm rod which will then give plenty of tension.
